6 p.m. Gathering, 7 p.m. Dinner with live auction to follow
On Friday, May 17, 2019, the Ohio & Erie Canalway Coalition will be hosting the Canal Boat Captains Ball at the Akron Fairlawn Hilton. The Captain's Ball is a premier fundraiser that benefits the Ohio & Erie Canalway Coalition and our efforts to build the Towpath Trail through northeast Ohio, as well as thank members of the community for their support of the Towpath Trail. This year, we are honoring Dr. Brian Harte, President of Cleveland Clinic Akron General as honorary Canal Boat Captain.
Doors will open at 6:00pm. A social hour will be followed by dinner at 7 p.m., and a silent and live auction. Proceeds from this event benefit the Ohio & Erie Canalway Coalition and the continued development of the Towpath Trail and Connector Trails.
If you are interested in learning more about the event or would like to purchase a seat, contact Lydia Hoffman at (330) 374-5657 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
