Help Us Save the Clean Ohio Fund!

Currently, the General assembly of Ohio has not yet decided to appropriate bonds to support the Clean Ohio Fund. The Clean Ohio Fund helps communities bring in much loved greenspace and spark economic growth and development. In order to be awarded funds from Clean Ohio, the project must provide a match for the funding which allows the entire community to work together on each project funded.

In the Ohio & Erie National Heritage Canalway alone, the various communities who have received Clean Ohio Grants have had over $300 million spent on the greenspace and in the community, boosting their economies and sparking growth through the region.

If you would like to help save the Clean Ohio Program below is a letter you can send to your representative, as well as a survey done of Ohio Voters that shows how many of us feel that the Clean Ohio Fund is important to both our economic development and our greenspaces.
