Join the Ohio & Erie Canalway Coalition and experience a "Taste of Tusc" sampling foods, desserts, wines and beers from Tuscarawas County while enjoying music by The Harp Brother’s, on Friday, March, 14, 2014 at the Performing Arts Center at Kent State Tuscarawas in New Philadelphia, Ohio.
Taste of Tusc includes:
- Sampling beers and wines from local breweries and wineries.
- Tasting entrées, appetizers, and desserts from local restaurants.
- “People’s Choice” awards given for best food, dessert, wine and beer.
- The first 350 attendees receive a complimentary stem less wine glass.
- Great raffle prizes!
- Honoring the volunteers who have helped build trails in Tuscarawas County.
- Learning about new trail projects in Tuscarawas County.
All proceeds benefit the Ohio & Erie Canalway Coalition and our efforts to establish the Towpath Trail and the Ohio & Erie National Heritage Canalway.
Taste wines from local wineries including:
Breitenbach Wine Cellar, Island Palm Winery, and Silver Moon Winery
Sample local beers from:
Hoppin' Frog Brewery, Millersburg Brewing Co., and Thirsty Dog Brewing Co.
Taste local foods and desserts from Tuscarawas restaurants including:
Benson’s Market & Catering, Biscotti by the Bunch, Bread Head Bakery & Coffee Shop, Buehler's, Canal Street Diner, Canal Tavern of Zoar, Creative Cake Bites, Miller Creamery, OV Harvest, Park Street Pizza, Shy Cellars, Sugarfuse, The Pro's Table, Tuscarawas County Farm Bureau, Tuscarawas Valley Family Farmer’s Market, and Union Country Club.
