ComDoc, who has been providing office equipment to businesses in Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York and West Virginia for over 50 years, continues to experience growth within the challenging economy. Their success in attracting and retaining mid-sized customers caught the attention of Global Imaging Systems, Inc., and in February 2009 ComDoc agreed to be purchased by Global. The acquisition has been viewed by ComDoc as a positive move, as their product line will be augmented by Xerox, the industry leader in office equipment. In addition, because Global maintains independent operations across the United States, the "culture of ownership" that has driven the organization will remain in place.
