The Ohio & Erie Canalway Coalition offers many different opportunities for you to get involved with our organization and make a positive impact on the local community. Look below to see how you can volunteer. If interested, please contact us to sign up.
After more than 10 years of canal clean ups, our volunteers have collected endless amounts of trash from various sites along the Towpath Trail, including Summit Lake, the Richard Howe House, and Cascade Locks. Partners, including Cargill, MWH Global, and G.Stephens support Canal Cleanups because they understand how important these efforts are to the environment. Check out when our next Canal Clean Up is and join us to make a difference.
Volunteer to work with us as we continue to develop the Towpath Trail! Whether we are constructing new sections of the trail or enhancing what is already complete, we could use your help. Projects range from clearing weeds along the trail to construction work. If you are interested, please contact George Ebey at (330) 374-5657 or email@example.com to find a volunteer project for you.
Volunteers are the backbone of our events and play a key part in making the event a success. Volunteer opportunities range from helping with set up and serving food to sweeping at our biking events, or interacting with participants. View our events to see what we have coming up and if you see something you want to be part of, don't hesitate to contact us to see how you can get involved.
