9/14/2023 (Akron, Ohio): The FirstEnergy Akron Marathon, Half Marathon, and Team Relay will take place on Saturday, September 30. Please be advised that this year's route will close off a section of the Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail from the Mustill Store near downtown to North Portage Path in the Merriman Valley from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. A detour will be posted.
