Tom coordinates the Summit Bike Share program of the OECC from May through October, and repairs the bicycles through his position as Executive Director of the Summit Cycling Center in downtown Akron. He has lived in Akron all his life and spent 30 years in the City of Akron’s Traffic Engineering Division, in which he oversaw the daily operations of the sign installation and road marking crews. He is a graduate of Leadership Akron’s NEXT Class 6 and a former board member at Summit Artspace.
