Paddlers ahoy! Canoe across Summit Lake in Akron and along the Ohio & Erie Canal and learn a bit of Canalway history along the way.

Take a scenic canoe ride across Summit Lake and the Ohio & Erie Canal in Akron, guided by our knowledgeable staff and volunteers who will share the history of the area, the historic Ohio & Erie Canal, and discuss the exciting improvements happening at Summit Lake. This guided canoe tour lasts roughly 2 hours and the route is about 2 miles.
These rides will include all equipment, snacks, resource/goodie bag, and a deli-style picnic lunch at the end of the trip.
Please note that this is a rain-or-shine event. Also, please note that single riders (riders who register for one ticket) will be paired with another participant or with a Team Member in a 2-person or 3-person canoe.
