Get out and enjoy a summer day at Summit Lake on Saturday, August 9 at Summit Lake Float!
Presented by the Ohio & Erie Canalway Coalition and Summit Metro Parks, Summit Lake Float welcomes community members to experience Summit Lake through water recreation, including kayaking, canoeing and pontoon boat rides! Through this Akron Bicentennial program, we are celebrating Summit Lake's thriving ecosystem and the neighborhood's deep roots in Akron's 200-year history. All activities are free and open to the greater Akron community in honor of Akron200!
