Regula Ride

 

We're celebrating the life of Congressman Ralph Regula, champion of the Ohio & Erie Canalway National Heritage Area, with a bicycle ride and picnic in Stark County! 

Take a round trip adventure along the Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail. Whether it is 8, 16, or 32 miles, enjoy a day out with friends and family. Receive goodie bags, water along the trail, and raffle prizes. The routes are as follows:

  • 32 mile: Start at St. Helena Park in Canal Fulton. Ride south to Lake Avenue Trailhead, north to Vanderhoof Road, and south back to St. Helena Park. Registration begins at 8 a.m.

  • 16 mile: Start at St. Helena Park in Canal Fulton. Ride south to the Lake Avenue Trailhead and back to St. Helena Park. Registration begins at 9 a.m.

  • 8 mile: Start at St. Helena Park in Canal Fulton. Ride north to the Village of Clinton and return to St. Helena Park. Registration begins at 10 a.m.

Boxed lunches will be available for participants upon returning to St. Helena Heritage Park from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Register by June 7 to receive a complimentary Regula Ride T-shirt!
