Tanner joins us as Development Intern, assisting with event management and fundraising. He currently lives in the Canton area, and has a passion for service and improving the community. As an Eagle Scout, he has done a lot of different service projects including many clean-ups along the Towpath, roads, in the Stark Parks, and along the Tuscarawas River. Throughout high school he participated in different fundraising drives, service projects, and leadership roles, which sparked his interest in public management. Partnered with an interest in technology and how it affects the nonprofit sector, he is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree of public affairs in nonprofit management & leadership with a minor in information systems through Indiana University Bloomington. He has worked with the Canton Palace Theatre with volunteer engagement, and has worked in Bloomington with the Lotus Education and Arts Foundation in a similar development role. In his free time, he enjoys playing games of all shapes and sizes (board games, video games, puzzles, etc.).
